Project Detail:
M/s WBPL proposed for expansion of existing Grain based distillery of 200 KLD capacity along with 5 MW cogeneration plant to 325 KLD alongwith 10 MW cogeneration plant with latest technology of Multi Pressure Distillation and MSDH for dehydration to achieve good quality of Fuel grade Ethanol.
Proposed production of 125 KLPD distillery with 5 MW captive Power Generation plant will be based on grain i.e. Broken Rice / Maize as basic raw materials. Other inputs will be water, antifoam agents, Urea, H 2 SO 4 and enzymes. Rice husk / Biomass Briquette (Agri- waste based) / Coal (auxiliary fuel) will be used as fuel in Boiler.
The spent wash will be reused within premises to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge. The entire spent wash is evaporated in the evaporators and the concentrated spent wash-syrup is mixed with wet grain from the Decanters to produce DWGS (Distillers Wet Grain Solubles) which is then dried in the DDGS (Distillers Dry Grain Solubles) dryer to make the final by product DDGS.
