Project Detail:

This chapter provides an overview of the proposed BP & PP, indicating the scale of operations and a brief coverage on the basic processes involved. The description brings out the technology adopted for manufacturing and the provisions considered for solid waste and effluent management. The description also includes the relevant details of the components of the proposed plants and the usage of raw material/resources. Engineering details of the plant pertaining to environmental protection are included as it is necessary to evaluate the adequacy of environmental facilities/control measures envisaged. Information related to energy, water and manpower requirements are also covered in this chapter.

The proposed project is a green field project. The project falls under 3 (a) Metallurgical industries (Ferrous and Non-ferrous) and 2 (b) Mineral beneficiation of MoEF&CC, EIA notification 2006.

The estimated capital cost is about Rs. 2000 Crore.
