Project Detail:
The proposed Kerala Urban Water Services Improvement Project will support water supply improvement in the City of Kochi by ensuring continuous pressurized and sustainable water services in line with the Rebuild Kerala Development Program. It will do so by introducing sound preventive maintenance practice, nurturing asset management culture, and gradually improving the existing water supply scheme, while ensuring the continued provision of the water supply services. The project will complement the ongoing 'Rebuild Kerala Initiative of the Government of Kerala post flood disaster of 2018. The project will also provide a learning opportunity for the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) to replicate water services efficiency and demand management programs in the entire state.
