The company, OTTATHINGAL INDIA PVT LTD, propose to set up Standalone Cement grinding Unit covering an extent of 1.59.44 Ha or 15944.16 Sq.m Plot No. B1, SIPCOT, Pirancheri Village, Tirunelveli Taluk(Now Manur Taluk), Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu. The Proposed plant capacity is 300 TPD or 1,03,500 TPA White Cement (WOPC) of fineness 4000 Blaine on closed circuit.
The company, OTTATHINGAL INDIA PVT LTD, appointed M/s AADHI BOOMI MINING AND ENVIRO TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, having its office at 3/216, K.S.V Nagar, Narasothipatti, Alagapuram, Salem – 636 004, Tamil Nadu as EIA Consultant, having “A” category accreditation in Cement Plant for Preparation of TOR, Draft EIA/EMP report, Final EIA/EMP after Public Hearing and obtaining Environment Clearance.
1.1 SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
The proposal for Environmental Clearance of Standalone Cement Grinding Unit of M/s.Ottathingal India Pvt Ltd requires Draft EIA report for conducting public hearing and Final EIA Report as per F.No.J-11011/93/2021-IA.II(1) dated 29.04.2021
Process Description
The proposed unit of 300 TPD or 1,03,500 TPA capacity of WOPC uses raw materials such as Clinker (< 10 mm), gypsum (Powder) and Dolomite (Podwer). The project emphasizes on start of technology with environmental friendly plant concept. The process selected involves inter-grinding of raw materials with double chamber ball mill technology. All ingredients are selected in such a way that they qualify respective BIS specifications.
The finished product of desired chemical composition and physical properties of WOPC is of BIS standard, stored in to cement Silos. The process flow diagram is given in Figure No. 1.1.
