Project detail:
Expansion of Eloquent Steel Pvt. Ltd. for 336,000TPA Billet production along with installation of Rolling Mill for production of 210,000TPA Rolled Product, Installation of 150,000TPA Briquette Plant, 100,800 TPA Sinter Plant and addition of Pig Iron as product from the existing Submerged Arc Furnaces at Village: NakraJoria, P.O.: Salanpur, District: Paschim Burdwan, West Bengal.
The project is located at Village: NakraJoria, P.O.: Salanpur, District: Paschim Burdwan, West Bengal on area of 9.089Ha between latitude ranging from 23°46'28.52"N to 23°46'43.04"N and longitude ranging from 86°51'33.15"E to 86°51'49.34"E. The entire project will be installed in vacant land of the existing plant. Project does not envisage additional land for the project. No forest land is involved. As per DFO Memo No. 5596/28- 1 dated 02.03.2022 (enclosed as Annexure-14), there are no national parks/Wildlife Sanctuary/Reserve forests within 10km radius. Nearest habitation is Dendua Village at 30meters distance from project site. River Damodar is flowing at a distance of 3.75km in West direction and Maithon dam is located at a distance of 4.86 km in NW direction of project site. Project is having good connectivity through SH-15 (Asansol-Chittranjan Road) and NH-19 (Delhi Kolkata Highway) is at 0.91km & 4.64km road distance respectively connected to project site by Kalyaneshwari to Dendua Road. SH-5 is also located at 4.67km road distance. Also, Salanpur Railway station is 3.2kms from project site.
Cost of the Project - Project Cost is estimated as Rs. 120 Crs. Cost of the existing plant is Rs. 83.62 Crores. Hence, total approx. cost of the Plant after the proposed expansion will be Rs. 203.62 Crs.
