Project detail:
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has examined the proposal for Environmental Clearance to the project for expansion of technical grade pesticides with production capacity 300 MTPA located at UNIT – 2, VPO Nagla Megha, Meerut Road, Khasara No. 36/24 (Khewat No. 317/284 & Khatoni Tehsil Gharounda, District Karnal, Haryana by M/s. Shree Ram Agro India.
The project/activity is covered under Category ‘A’ of item 5(b) Pesticides industry and pesticide specific intermediates (excluding formulations), of Schedule of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification, 2006 (as amended) and appraised at the Centre.
The PP reported that the proposed land area is 1846.37 m 2 and no R& R is involved in the Project.
