Project detail:
I am directed to convey the grant of the Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction (AA&ES) for the project of “Scientific exploration of floral diversity near the Ganga river banks for ethnobotanical purposes along with their conservation and economic development of the region via skill development programs region’ under Namami Gange Mission-I” at an estimated cost of Rs. 4,32,36,107/- (Rupees Four Crores Thirty two lakh thirty six thousand one hundred seven only) on cost sharing basis between NMCG and Patanjali Organic Research Institute (PORI).
NMCG share of sanctioned cost of the project amounting to Rs. 2,41,50,545/- will be borne from the ‘National Ganga Plan - Non EAP budget head of Namami Gange Mission —lII, and expenditure incurred will be booked under the component “Aviral Ganga- Ecological Sustainability – Afforestation and Biodiversity Conservation”. The remaining project cost of Rs. 1,90,85,562/- will be borne by PORI.
