Project detail:
This has reference to the previous AA&ES issued vide letter no. T-03/2012- 13/0162/NMCG- RFD Patna dated 26" February 2019, at an estimated cost of Rs 336.73 Cr having central to state share as Rs 215.60 Cr and Rs 121.13 Cr respectively, for the development of 20 Ghats, 1 crematorium, 6.6km promenade, 3 no buildings, interceptor drains, art works etc.
However, in due course of time the EPC contractor was only able to complete 16 Ghats, 1 crematorium, 5.5km promenade, 3 buildings, interceptor drains, art works on ghats, IEC activities, landscaping activities, approach road upgradation. Remaining 4 ghats and allied promenade could not be completed due to paucity of land and Right of Way (ROW) issue. Therefore, the previous contract is closed at an overall expenditure of Rs 284.57 Cr and saving of Rs 52.16 Cr.
Government vide letter no. BGCMS/2017/RFD-25 (Part-1l)389 dated 25-08- 2022 has submitted a proposal for completing the remaining 3 ghats and allied promenade at an estimated cost of Rs 46.26 Cr.
