Project detail:
M/s. Eindana Energies Private Limited (EEPL) a Pvt. Ltd. Company registered under Companies Act 2013 & has proposed 200 KLPD Grain Based Ethanol Plant along with 5 MW Co-generation unit at Sy. No. 157/19/3; 157/19/4; 157/20-2; 157/22-1A; 157/22-2B; 157/22-2A, Village – Emmajigudem, Tehsil – Bellamkonda (Mandal), Dist – Palnadu (erstwhile Guntur), Andhra Pradesh.
As per MoEF&CC guidelines & notifications, to give a further boost to the Ethanol Blending Program, Grain based distilleries, having Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and setup to produce only ethanol for the purposes of Ethanol Blending Program of the Government, and keeping in view overall environmental, social and economic benefits in production of ethanol from such distilleries including reduction in Green House Gas emissions in comparison to conventional fossil-fuel, less water and air pollution, potential boost to agricultural economy and reduced dependence on imported fossil fuel by equivalent amount, the Central Government deems it necessary to give a special dispensation as regards granting of Environmental Clearances (EC) to such category of projects [Manufacturing of ethanol by Grain Based distilleries with Zero Liquid Discharge, to be used for Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme of the Government].
The Notification no. S.O. 1533 promulgated on 14th September 2006 & S.O. 2339 (E) dated 16th June, 2021 have covered these types of industries under its entry 5(ga) - Grain based distilleries producing ethanol, solely to be used for Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme of the Government of India.
