Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction (AA&ES) for theproject on "Rejuvenation and Development of Murar River, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh" under Namami Gange Program at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.24 Crore (Thirty-Nine Crores and Twenty-four Lakhs on .y under DBOT mode.

The period of completion of the project is 27 (Twenty-Seven) months including 3 months for bidding period, 18 months for project implementation and 6 months for O&M after the award of project. The project must be awarded with in the three months from the date of this sanction. The implementation schedule for 27 months will be prepared in consultation with Municipal Corporation Gwalior and submitted by M/s WAPCOS Ltd. The target deliverables/milestones, scope of work, methodology and the given timeline should be followed as peri the detailed implementation plan given in Annexure-III.

The Executing Agency i.e. (WAPCOS (India) Ltd.), is a Central Public Sector Unit of Government of India entrusted to take up the entry level activities pertaining to Ganga Rejuvenation in the identified towns in Ganga basin.

The observations of NMCG, TPA should be complied by the Executing Agency (WAPCOS) at the time of finalization of bid document/ at the time of execution of the works.

O&M during 6-month defect liability period will be part of the sanctioned project scope. O&M beyond project scope shall be the responsibility of State Government/ ULB at its own cost.

Post completion of O&M period by executing agency, ULB should engage revenue generation mechanism in place for sustaining the O&M activities.

Issues pertaining to land, consultations with local authorities and observations from the State need to be addressed & resolved before tendering with necessary evidence of such consultations. Land, wherever applicable, will have to be provided by the State Government.

10,A supervisory committee under chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner, Gwalior with all the stakeholders responsible for day to day monitoring of the project shall be constituted. Municipal Commissioner Gwalior shall be nodal point for intradepartment coordination and over all supervision.
