Project detail:
Administrative Approval And Expenditure Sanction (Aa&Es) Of Rs.3,02,90,040/-For R & D
Project Upgradation/Integration Of Existing Uasb System With Micro-Aerobic Processes
Under Namami Gange Program – Reg.
I. The Major Objectives Of The Project Are As Follows:
-
Optimization Of Snap Process For The Total Sulfides, Nitrogen And
-
Phosphorus Removal From Anaerobic Effluents.
-
Integration Of Snap Process With Uasb System To Enhance The
-
Overall Treatment Performance Of In Terms Of Bod, Cod, Tss,
-
Nitrogenous And Phosphorous Compounds.
-
Cost Benefit Analysis (Cba) And Life Cycle Analysis (Lca) For
-
The Integrated Uasb-Snap Process.
Ii. Work Package/Outcomes & Window/Study Area:
The Proposed Study Is Aimed With An Objective Of Zero Discharge And
Resource Recovery Concept From Sewage Treatment Using Up-Flow
Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (Uasb) Process. The Current Uasb-Snap
Process Will Be Designed To Achieve Discharge Standard (Organic
Matter, Nutrients) Set By Government Of India. The Proposed Process Could
Be Used Foi Retrofitting The Existing Uasb Processes In Addition To
Achieve The Energy Recovery And Cost-Effective Approach. Uasb Based Stp
Are Not Able To Serve Nutrient (N & P) And Thus Not Able To Meet Ngt
Norms.
4. The Summary Of Project Cost Of Inr. 30290040/- (Rupees Three Crore Two
Lakh Ninety Thousand Forty Only)
