Project Detail:
The company is proposing Expansion of Integrated Steel Plant: Sponge Iron from 3,18,000 TPA to 7,14,000 TPA, MS Billets from 3,72,300 TPA to 7,44,600 TPA, Rolling Mill from 3,00,000 TPA to 6,00,000 TPA, Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) from 30,000 TPA to 57,500 TPA & Captive Power Plant (42 MW to 84 MW) including Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) from 21 MW to 63 MW at Jamuria Industrial Estate, Village Ikra & Damodarpur, Tehsil Jamuria, District Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The existing plant area is 31.74 hectares (78.44 acres); additional area required for expansion is 22.865 (56.5 acres) hectares which is already under the possession of the company, hence after expansion, the total plant area will be 54.605 hectares (134.94 acres). Complete land is already under the possession of the company and it is situated in Jamuria Industrial estate.
Total Cost of the Expansion Project: Rs. 1057.05 Crores
