Project Detail:
Somayajulapalle and Komarolu Industrial Parks are part of the proposed Orvakal Industrial Node in Kurnool under the HBIC project of National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation.
The Orvakal Industrial Node is proposed to be a multipurpose sustainable smart industrial city having clusters of heavy industries, medium and light industries along with logistics, and commercial area with all infrastructural facilities like roads, transportation, nearness to trade centres and ports and multimodal dedicated freight corridor enabling connectivity to other states in India.
With the proposed sectors of Non-Metalic Mineral industries, Textile & Apparel, Food and Beverages, Rubber & Plastic products, Chemicals & Chemical products, Paper & Paper Products, and Printing & Publishing industries at the Somayajulapalle and Komarolu Industrial Parks
The Somayajulapalle and Komarolu Industrial Parks (part of the Orvakal Industrial Node) will mostly comprise of Non-Metalic Mineral industries, Textile & Apparel, Food and Beverages, Rubber & Plastic products, Chemicals & Chemical products, Paper & Paper Products and Printing & Publishing along with utilities infrastructure and Green spaces as per Master plan.
The capital cost for the proposed project is estimated to be around Rs.972.5 Crores. After examining the
environmental, commercial and financial feasibility of the proposed project and based on earlier experiences, it may be inferred that the project may have positive viability.
