Project Detail:

Guali Iron Ore Block in Keonjhar district of Odisha state has been reserved in favour of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited. Subsequently, Vide order No 358/SM dated 12.01.2021, Government of Odisha granted the mining lease and Mining Lease
Deed has been executed on 12.01.2021. The block has about 196.726 Mil.T of iron ore resources. Further the resource will be augmented by doing balance area exploration. OMC has decided to go for expansion of the project from the present 5.7MTPA to 30.0MTPA to cater the of mineral based industries such as steel, sponge iron, pig iron, pellet plants etc. both in State and the country.

The total project cost for the mine expansion is expected to be Rs. 1020.6354 crores that includes mine activities and crushing & screening plants.
