Project Detail:

mining lease over an area of 136.85 ha. of mining lease has been granted in favor of M/s Uttarakhand Forest Development Corporation (UKFDC) for the period of 05 years in Reserve Forest Song-2, Dehradun, U.K. A combined joint inspection was carried out for estimating the total mineable area by a Joint Inspection Committee and an area of 136.85 ha was sanctioned/approved for mining by Geology & Mining Unit dated 12th Nov, 2020. Replenishment study has been done by Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun in the year 2019-2020.
The proposed production capacity of Sand, Bajri and Boulders is 4064445.00 TPA. The lease area lies on Song 2 river bed.
