Project Detail:
Integrated Common hazardous Waste Treatment & Storage Facility having. Secured Land Fill (SLF) Capacity: 33712 MTA Period: 25 Years Incinerator – About 1 TPD Electronic Waste Management facility - 15000 MTA
As per the Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling and Trans boundary Movement) Rules, 2016, as amended, of Environment Protection Act, 1986, the hazardous waste generated by industries has to be collected, transported, treated and disposed in a properly designed TSDF Facility. Under aforesaid Rules, CPCB guidelines have laid down a procedure for collection, storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous wastes. The scientific treatment and disposal of hazardous waste, which requires proper design and operation according to guidelines.
The proposed project is for Integrated Common Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility (ICHWTSDF) for Industrial Hazardous Waste in Gwalior Zone of Madhya Pradesh at Mohna Industrial area, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh
MPIDCL Bhopal is the Single Window Secretariat for Investment Promotion and Facilitation in the state since 2004.The main objective of MPIDL is to provide quality infrastructure to industries and facilities for the common purpose.
Proposed project will cater to environmentally and economically sound disposal of waste generated in Gwalior zone of Madhya Pradesh, which encompass the Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari Districts of Madhya Pradesh within 200-250 radius minimizing long distance haulage of waste.
The proposed project will be set-up on around 36.30 Acres land at Mohna Industrial area falls under MPIDC, Bhopal earmarked for TSDF.
Project Capital Cost Rs. 7692.56 Lakh.
