Project Detail:
The project comprises the redevelopment of the existing East Ansari Nagar Campus (106.7 acres) and expansion of the Trauma Center (14.95 acres), measuring a total land parcel of 121.65 acres at East Ansari Nagar campus, New Delhi. The proposed project will include the following:
• Increased capacity of the hospital to accommodate an integrated 3000 (new) bedded capacity.
• Auditorium and event Center for organization of national and international events.
• Residential facilities for in-house doctors, staff and faculty.
• Green cover and playground within the campus.
• Hostel facilities with equipped facilities such as dining, kitchen, laundry, recreation area, market, etc. for students.
• Development of integrated landscape, pedestrian boulevards, and healing gardens.
• Multi-level car parking to minimize vehicular traffic on the campus and to develop a smart sustainable campus with vehicles.
• An integrated infrastructure including state of the art supports infra including but not limited to AC Plant, DG bank, rooftop solar power plant, etc.
This development project comprises of two components (i) demolition and construction to increase FAR in East Ansari Nagar and (ii) construction on vacant plot of Trauma Center Extension. The proposed demolition and new construction on the space will be in phases so that the hospital functions are uninterrupted during redevelopment works. Also, some facilities and buildings will continue to function in their present capacity to support the various functions within the main hospital.
The estimated cost of the project is INR 9000 crores.
