Project Detail:
GOPAL SPONGE & POWER PVT. LTD. (GSPPL) is proposed to establish Mini Integrated Steel plant at Khasra nos. 121/3, 121/4, 170, 253/2 & 253/3 of Chapka Village, Bastar Tehsil &
District, Chhattisgarh.
Later on, the total land area is increased from 30.5 Acres (12.34 Ha.) to 46 Acres (18.62 Ha.).
Now the total land identified for the proposed project is 46 Acres (18.62 Ha.). The land earmarked for the proposed project is private land (un-irrigated agriculture land).
Proposed to establish Pellization plant of 0.8 mTPA, 1x400 TPD & 1 x 600 TPD DRI Kiln to produce Sponge Iron of 3,35,000 TPA, Induction Furnace of 5 x 20 T to produce Hot Billets / M.S.Billets of 3,00,000 TPA, Rolling Mill to produce TMT bars / Rolled products through 3,00,000 TPA, Ferro Alloy plant of 1x12 MVA capacity to produce 40,000 TPA of Fe Mn (or) 30,000 TPA of Si Mn (or) 45,000 TPA of Pig Iron, Power generation through WHRB of DRI Kilns -25 MW & through CFBC of 15 MW]
The estimated Project Cost for the proposed project will be of Rs. 490 crores.
