Project Detail:
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has notified the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification, 2006 under the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, which regulates development and their /modernization of 39 sectors/activities listed in the Schedule to the EIA Notification, 2006. As per notification, all the building construction projects/Area Development projects and Township Projects
All the Building construction Projects which have built up area ≥20000 m2 and <1, 50,000 m2 they come under schedule 8 (a) and Township/Area Development projects which have
covering an area ≥50 ha and or built up area ≥ 1, 50,000 m² they come under schedule 8(b) and are required to obtain prior environmental clearance from State Environmental Impact
Assessment Authority (SEIAA)/Expert appraisal Committee (MoEF&CC).
The Proposed Building Construction for 12th BN NDRF is to be set up on total area of 67.15 Acres. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is a force of 12 battalions, organised
on para-military lines, and manned by persons on deputation from the para-military forces of India: three Border Security Force, three Central Reserve Police Force, two Central
Industrial Security Force, two Indo-Tibetan Border Police and two Sashastra Seema Bal. The total strength of each battalion is approximately 1149. Each battalion is capable of
providing 18 self-contained specialist search and rescue teams of 45 personnel each including engineers, technicians, electricians, dog squads and medical/paramedics. It will
have convention service apartments, residential zones, surface parking
