Project Detail:

The Company is now considering expansion of the refinery, with an objective to increase the processing capacity from current 13.7 MMTPA to 18.0 MMTPA J18:
Increase Crude Refining Capacity from 13.7 MMTPA to 18.0 MMTPA of crude T’ put In order to meet growing demand & in consideration of Auto Fuel Quality Vision Policy 2025.
LAB Revamp:
Now IOCL has proposed to expand the capcity from 120 KTA to 162 KTA
Syn Gas, HGU-II&, n-Butanol:
Below mentioned is the proposed expansion capacities for the above mentioned units:
Syn Gas - 8500 Nm3/hr
Hydrogen - 4300 Nm3/hr
n-Butanol - 90 KTA

Capital cost estimate for the selected case is as under Rs. 22210 Crores.
