Project Detail:

The company has Plan to drill 134 exploratory wells in Western Onshore Basin in Gujarat.Each Exploratory w ell shall be logged in open hole. Water based non toxic drilling mud shall be used during exploratory drilling of w ell. I f potential oil and or gas reserves are observed then the w ell shall be cased w ith production casing. After confirming casing integrity and cement bonding, the w ell shall be temporarily abandoned for future completions. Depending on the success of exploratory drilling program ONGC may drill additional exploratory w ells w ithin the said Block and dev elop a plan for commercial production of hydrocarbons.
