HPCL Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) currently operates a 9.0 MMTPA Guru Gobind Singh Refinery in Bhatinda - Punjab, supplying BS-IV compliant fuels in the Northern region.GGSRL is now undertaking a Low Cost Expansion of the existing refinery from 9.0 MMTPA to 11.25 MMTPA, wherein it is debottlenecking the existing units to achieve this capacity. GGSR set up by HMEL at Bathinda is a state-of-the art modern refinery that was designed and operated as per the applicable regulations and standards. HMEL has implemented good safety and environmental engineering practices during the design, commissioning and operational phases of the plant.HPCL Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) currently operates a 9.0 MMTPA Guru Gobind Singh Refinery in Bhatinda - Punjab, supplying BS-IV compliant fuels in the Northern region. The refinery is equipped with a Petro FCC and Delayed Coker Unit with an upstream VGO+HCGO Hydro-treater the configuration is fairly robust and capable of maximizing the production of lighter distillates.
