| Project Detail : | Cyient Semiconductors has announced a strategic financing with EAAA India Alternatives (Edelweiss) and co-investors, involving a USD 10 million equity investment at a USD 500 million post-money valuation along with structured debt. The combined USD 30 million capital will be used to accelerate product R&D in custom power semiconductors and ASSPs, build in-house validation and testing infrastructure in India, and support working capital needs as the company scales global customer programs. The company acquired Kinetic Technologies, a power semiconductor firm with a track record of over three billion chips shipped, a portfolio of more than 250 products, and over 100 patents, strengthening its capabilities in power management solutions. It also launched India’s first gallium nitride (GaN) power integrated circuit (IC) family in collaboration with Navitas Semiconductor, marking a major milestone in advanced semiconductor technology development in the country. The company has also secured the SCL modernisation program, a key initiative aimed at upgrading India’s semiconductor infrastructure and research capabilities. These moves collectively position Cyient Semiconductors as an emerging player in high-growth semiconductor segments, particularly in power electronics and advanced chip design. |
