| Project Detail : | Gurugram-based Park Medi World has announced plans to add nearly 1,500 hospital beds across North India by FY28 as part of its expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its healthcare network. The expansion will cover key locations including Delhi, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Ambala, Mohali, and Rohtak, reflecting the company’s focus on growing healthcare demand in northern India. Around 500 beds are expected to be added during the current financial year, while another 1,000 beds are planned in FY28. Park Medi World expects the facility to generate approx. Rs 100 crore in revenue during its first operational year after integration. The company recently acquired Medicity, a multi-super specialty hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, through an all-cash deal worth Rs 177 crore. The hospital currently operates 200 beds and has a total capacity of 330 beds. “This will be our 17th hospital in sixth state, and our strength will go from 3,960 to 4,290,” Sanjay Sharma, Group CEO & Whole-time Director of Park Medi World said. The company expects revenue to rise from Rs 1,679 crore in the previous financial year to around Rs 2,080 crore in FY27, supported by increased bed capacity, improved occupancy levels, and higher contributions from complex medical procedures. |
