| Project Detail : | Avaada Group, a diversified clean energy conglomerate, has secured nearly USD 950 million in debt financing for three large-scale renewable energy projects, marking one of the most significant funding deals in India’s firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) segment. The financing covers an FDRE project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, along with two 300 MW solar power projects located in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The Bikaner FDRE project is being developed under a long-term power purchase agreement with SJVN and is designed to provide firm, dispatchable renewable power that enhances grid stability and enables round-the-clock clean energy supply. The Rajasthan solar project is backed by a power purchase agreement with NTPC, while the Gujarat project is supported by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Debt financing for the projects was arranged through separate consortiums of multinational and domestic banks, including leading global and Indian financial institutions. The funding reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its clean energy capacity and supporting the country’s transition toward sustainable and reliable power infrastructure through large-scale solar and hybrid energy projects. |
