| Project Detail : | Manipal Health Enterprises, backed by global investors Temasek and TPG, has acquired a 752-sq. mtrs. land parcel, along with a hospital building in Mumbai’s Andheri for Rs 495 crore. This completes the second phase of a larger Rs 908-crore acquisition transaction. Property documents accessed through CRE Matrix showed that the latest purchase follows an earlier Rs 415-crore acquisition of another portion of the same site completed nearly two years ago. The acquired property includes a 752.77 sq. mtrs. plot and a constructed hospital building with a built-up area of 20,663.80 sq. mtrs. According to registration documents, the transaction was officially registered on 06 May, 2026, with stamp duty payments amounting to Rs 29.22 crore. The sellers in the deal include Khubchandani Hospitals, Khubchandani Properties and Investment, and Perfect Realty. The acquisition strengthens Manipal Health’s footprint in Mumbai, one of India’s most competitive healthcare markets, and reflects continued institutional investment in healthcare infrastructure as hospital operators expand capacity in high-demand urban centres. |
