| Project Detail : | Vedanta has invited expressions of interest (EOI) for the end-to-end execution of iron ore processing projects at its mining operations in Karnataka. The proposed development includes two major projects aimed at enhancing iron ore beneficiation and processing capacity. Project 1 involves the establishment of a two MTPA iron ore processing plant within the mine lease area, to be executed on an EPC or BOO (Build-Own-Operate) basis. Project 2 consists of a three MTPA iron ore processing plant located outside the mine lease area, expanding overall processing infrastructure and operational flexibility. The initiative is expected to strengthen Vedanta’s upstream mining capabilities, improve value addition in iron ore production, and enhance supply efficiency for downstream industries. The company’s EOI seeks competent, experienced, and financially sound partners capable of delivering large-scale, integrated mining infrastructure projects with strong financial and technical capabilities, supporting long-term capacity expansion in the iron ore sector.
