| Project Detail : | Bihar State Power Holding Company has invited bids for major transmission infrastructure contract worth Rs 268.27 crore. The contract includes three key transmission line developments, specifically, the construction of a LILO of the 220 kV D/C Chapra (New)–Gopalganj transmission line at GSS Mairwa using ACSR Zebra conductor over a 100 circuit km route length. Additionally, the scope cover the construction of a 132 kV DCDS transmission line from 132/33 kV GSS Raghunathpur to 220/132/33 kV AIS substation at GSS Mairwa spanning 50 rkm, as well as another 132 kV DCDS line from 132/33 kV GSS Bhorey to the same AIS substation at GSS Mairwa covering 55 rkm using ACSR Panther conductors. The works are scheduled for completion within 18 months from the date of issuance of notice of award (NOA). The initiative is expected to enhance grid reliability, improve transmission efficiency, and support growing electricity demand across the region. The last date for submission set as 05 June 2026. |
