| Project Detail : | ACME Solar Holdings (ACME Solar), through its subsidiaries, has commissioned an additional 155 MW / 470.25 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) in Rajasthan, bringing its total commissioned capacity to 297.67 MW / 951.74 MWh. These projects are part of the company’s larger plan to achieve 835 MW / 3,114.64 MWh across its special purpose vehicles (SPVs). The newly commissioned BESS are connected to the existing inter-state transmission system (ISTS) and will operate on a merchant basis, creating an additional revenue stream by leveraging price differences between peak and non-peak hours. Designed to enhance grid reliability, the BESS can charge during low-demand periods and discharge during peak demand, helping balance supply and demand and improving overall grid stability. This strategic deployment not only optimises power utilisation but also strengthens the operational resilience of Rajasthan’s energy infrastructure.
