| Project Detail : | Amardeep Singh Bhatia, Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, has conducted a review of key project sites under the National Industrial Corridor Programme in Haryana and Rajasthan. He began his visit at the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Nangal Chaudhary, spanning about 886 acres and designed to facilitate freight movement across regions. The project, valued at approx. Rs 10,290 million, is being developed through a public–private partnership model via a special purpose vehicle with equal equity participation. Phase one works, including rail infrastructure and external connectivity, were reviewed along with project timelines and execution progress. The delegation also visited Neemrana to assess the Indo-Japanese Neemrana Solar Power Project featuring a six MW solar installation integrated with smart micro-grid systems for industrial use. A SCADA facility at a five MW plant was inaugurated to enhance operational efficiency and energy management. Additionally, the Jodhpur–Pali–Marwar Industrial Area, covering about 1,200 hectares, was reviewed. The node, developed under NICDC and RIICO, is expected to attract investments worth Rs 3,000 crore across textiles, agro-processing, and engineering sectors. Stakeholder discussions focused on infrastructure challenges, improving ease of doing business, and accelerating industrial cluster development through innovation and technology-driven growth. |
