| Project Detail : | Noida Metro Rail Corporation has floated a tender for the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and 10 elevated Metro stations as part of the Aqua Line extension projects. The project involves extending the Aqua Line from Botanical Garden to Noida Sector-142 and from the Depot Station to Boraki Multi-Modal Transport Hub (MMTH). The scope includes detailed design, engineering, and construction of elevated metro infrastructure, covering viaduct structures and station development across the specified alignment. The work will be executed under part design and construction mode and includes civil works, structural engineering, and architectural finishing. The contractor will be responsible for preparing outline design and construction specifications, ensuring compliance with technical standards for metro rail systems. The contract is valued at approx. Rs 1,267 crore, with a construction timeline of 36 months. Once completed, the extension is expected to strengthen the overall metro network capacity and provide improved public transport accessibility across rapidly developing urban corridors in the National Capital Region.
