| Project Title : | Blackberrys targets 70 new stores and Rs 100-cr investment to drive premium menswear growth |
| Company Name : | Private Company |
| Project Detail : | Homegrown menswear brand Blackberrys is set to accelerate its growth strategy with plans to open 70 new stores this year and invest Rs 100 crore over the next two to three years to strengthen product innovation, technology capabilities, and supply chain infrastructure. The company is expanding its presence across both tier-1 and tier-2 cities, capitalising on rising consumer aspirations and increasing demand for premium apparel. According to Co-Founder and Director Nitin Mohan, nearly 40 percent of the brand’s business already comes from tier-2 and tier-3 towns, which are emerging as important centres of trade and economic activity. Blackberrys currently operates 400 exclusive stores across 150 cities and is available through 1,200 multi-brand outlets. The company has increasingly adopted a franchise-led expansion model, enabling faster scalability and broader market penetration. While the brand recorded single-digit growth in FY26 amid fluctuating demand trends in the apparel sector, it is targeting double-digit growth in FY27. The company is also focusing on reducing import dependence, expanding tailored casual wear offerings, and meeting growing demand for performance apparel through its Tech Pro collection. |
