| Project Detail : | Anjani Tek Tiles plans to invest around Rs 200 crore to expand its manufacturing operations and double its production capacity by the end of next year. According to Chairman KV Vishnu Raju, the company aims to increase output from the current 3.3 million sq. mtrs. to 6.6 million sq. mtrs. through a combination of greenfield and brownfield expansion projects. The investment marks the next phase of growth for the ceramic tile manufacturer, which has already invested approx. Rs 200 crore in building its existing operations and has achieved operational breakeven. The company currently operates two manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh, including a ceramic tiles plant at Gudur and another unit near Kaikaluru. A key component of the expansion strategy is a proposed greenfield manufacturing facility at Eluru, where the company owns 55 acres of land. The location offers logistical advantages and access to natural gas supplied by GAIL, an important raw material input for tile production. The company's products are sold across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Odisha. “Our focus is on strengthening our presence in these six states, where we enjoy a significant logistics advantage. We believe there is considerable scope to deepen market penetration in these regions,” Chairman Raju said. Alongside capacity expansion, Anjani Tek Tiles is focusing on design-led product differentiation through collaboration with experts from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). |
