| Project Detail : | Knowledge Realty Trust (KRT) plans to invest Rs 700 crore over the next three years to develop 1.4 million sq. ft. of office space in Bengaluru as part of its expansion strategy. KRT, a REIT sponsored by Sattva Group and investment firm Blackstone, aims to strengthen its commercial real estate portfolio through both development and acquisition of prime office assets. KRT Chief Executive Officer Shirish Godbole stated that the company witnessed strong performance during the previous financial year and expects continued growth in 2026-27 across key indicators such as net operating income and distributions to unitholders. He highlighted that demand for premium office space remains robust, largely driven by foreign companies establishing Global Capability Centres in India. As per the CEO, KRT’s portfolio is resilient to artificial intelligence-related disruptions because a significant portion of its office spaces is occupied by GCCs and front-office operations. The company currently manages 29 premium office assets spread across six Indian cities, with ongoing and future development projects adding substantial commercial space capacity. |
