The summit drew around 6,000 delegates and industry leaders, with discussions covering sectors such as textiles, steel, IT, and renewable energy. Investors announced plans to expand manufacturing and business operations in Punjab over the next three to four years. Notable commitments include Plaksha University’s Rs 5,000 crore investment, Verbio India’s Rs 4,000 crore in biofuels and biogas projects, Nahar Industries’ Rs 1,500 crore expansion, and Tynor Orthotics’ Rs 1,000 crore plan to strengthen its global manufacturing presence. Textile producer Ganga Acrowools also pledged Rs 750 crore to expand operations, highlighting favourable industry sentiment and supportive state policies.
