| Project Detail : | Aequs has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Guidance, the nodal agency of the Tamil Nadu government, to set up a manufacturing unit in the state. The proposed facility will focus on producing components for aircraft engines, landing gear, and related systems. The company plans to invest up to Rs 1,900 crore over the next ten years. Under the MoU, the Tamil Nadu government will provide necessary facilitation and infrastructural support to enable smooth project execution. Standard incentives under the state’s existing industrial policy will also apply, supporting the company’s long-term investment plans. This initiative is expected to strengthen the aerospace manufacturing ecosystem in Tamil Nadu, create skilled employment opportunities, and enhance local supply chain capabilities for the aviation sector.
