| Project Title : | NHAI plans three-km flyover at Narsingpur to ease traffic bottlenecks on Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway |
| Company Name : | National Highways Authority Of India. |
| Project Detail : | The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced plans to build a three-km flyover at Narsingpur, located on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, to address persistent traffic congestion. The proposal aims to ease the bottlenecks on a stretch frequently plagued by slowdowns, especially as traffic merges from a four-lane section at Hero Honda Chowk to a narrower three-lane carriageway near Narsingpur. The area also faces challenges like poorly maintained service roads and unauthorised cuts, further aggravating the situation. NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar has directed officials to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for the flyover. However, the design and alignment will be finalised after conducting a thorough study. “The proposal is currently at a conceptual stage and will be studied at the concept level first,” an NHAI official said. The move is part of a broader effort to improve road infrastructure, enhance connectivity, with a focus on public safety and efficient traffic flow. |
