| Project Detail : | The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, made several key decisions in its recent meeting. The Cabinet approved the establishment of a cancer care centre in Hamirpur to enhance healthcare services in the region. It also gave the green light to the construction of a 4.3-km zipline project near Dharamsala, which is expected to be the longest in Asia. This zipline project, costing Rs 7.41 crore, is anticipated to become a major tourism draw. Additionally, the state Cabinet cleared the allotment of four hydroelectric projects to successful bidders, including the six MW Khauli-II, 24 MW Malana-III, 21.9 MW Manalsu, and 18 MW Dhancho projects. The government also approved the construction of a new ice skating rink in Shimla to boost tourism and recreational activities. Moreover, Alliance Air Aviation has been authorised to operate a daily 46-seater plane on the Delhi-Shimla-Delhi and Shimla-Dharamshala-Shimla routes. |
