| Project Detail : | Odisha’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, has approved 23 investment proposals worth Rs 4,982.66 crore, set to generate 11,933 employment opportunities across 12 districts. The projects span key sectors such as aerospace and defence, apparel, steel, food processing, renewable energy, tourism, IT, and pharmaceuticals. Among the approvals, BonV Technology, a deep-tech startup, will invest Rs 300 crore to establish a state-of-the-art drone manufacturing park in Khurda, integrating R&D, manufacturing, and training, and creating 760 employment opportunities. In textiles, KPR Mill will invest Rs 350 crore in a garment unit in Khurda, creating work prospects for 5,000 persons. In steel, Vidya Minerals, Jatia Steel, and Amsted Steel Foundries' investemnt commitment are Rs 620 crore, Rs 451.9 crore, and Rs 250 crore respectively. In the food sector, Hindustan Aqua and Pragati Milk will invest Rs 320 crore and Rs 114.34 crore in Sundargarh and Balasore. Six tourism projects worth Rs 479 crore include five-star and three-star hotels in Puri, Daringbadi, and Taptapani. Green energy and IT projects from Luminous Power, Ecodynamix, Linde India, Synnat Pharma, and Apmosys Technologies further strengthen Odisha’s investment landscape. |
