| Project Detail : | Solarium Green Energy has announced its re-entry into solar module manufacturing with a 1000 MW fully automated facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, involving a capital expenditure of Rs 70 crore, funded through a 3:1 debt-to-equity ratio. The plant is expected to be operational by Q4/ FY26, and at 85 percent capacity utilisation, has the potential to generate over Rs 1,000 crore in annual revenue if modules are sold in the open market. The new plant is part of Solarium’s backward integration strategy, aimed at enhancing supply chain security, reducing cost volatility, and boosting project margins by five to eight percent for in-house EPC deployments. “Our re-entry into manufacturing will bring strong synergies to our operations,” said Ankit Garg, Chairman and Managing Director, noting that this aligns with Solarium’s integrated approach. The facility will produce Crystalline Silicon Solar PV Modules using advanced technologies such as TOPCon cells, half-cut cells, and bifacial cells, with high-end imported machinery like tabber-stringers, laminators, and sun simulators ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency. Additionally, Solarium is expanding into structure manufacturing at its Bavla facility and has partnered with WattPower Systems to distribute inverters in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. |
