| Company Name : | Private Company |
| Project Detail : | Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has won major orders for grid infrastructure development across both India and overseas. In India, the company secured contracts for constructing 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines aimed at integrating a renewable energy zone in Andhra Pradesh. These projects form a crucial part of India’s ongoing grid modernisation efforts and green energy corridor initiatives, designed to enhance transmission efficiency and accommodate growing renewable energy capacity. Internationally, L&T’s PT&D arm has been awarded turnkey contracts in the Middle East to develop 220 kV and 132 kV Gas Insulated Substations (GIS). These orders, placed by leading transmission asset owners and operators in the region, further validate L&T’s technological leadership and strong execution capabilities. “These wins mark a strategic milestone in our ongoing efforts to build resilient and future-ready grid infrastructure,” the company stated. L&T’s PT&D business continues to expand its global footprint, delivering advanced high-voltage transmission lines, substations, and integrated solutions that support the renewable energy transition and grid reliability across key geographies. |
