| Project Detail : | Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) and Engineers India (EIL) have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to foster strategic collaboration in the fields of refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy. The agreement aims to accelerate growth in key energy sectors through engineering consultancy services and technical support for MRPL’s ongoing and upcoming projects. The collaboration will cover vital areas such as refinery expansion, petrochemical integration, biofuels, renewable energy development, energy transition initiatives, and marketing infrastructure enhancement. EIL, with its extensive engineering expertise, will provide consultancy and project execution support to MRPL as the latter undertakes a broader push towards sustainable and future-ready energy operations. The signing took place in the presence of Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, Managing Director of MRPL, and Vartika Shukla, Chairperson and Managing Director of EIL. This partnership is seen as a significant step in aligning with India’s energy transition goals and strengthening domestic capabilities in refining and green energy sectors. |
