| Project Detail : | ZF India has entered into a strategic partnership with a prominent commercial vehicle manufacturer to supply 9-speed manual and automated manual transmissions (AMTs) for the OEM’s trucks in the 1,300 Nm torque segment. The agreement includes the supply of ZF’s EcoMid and EcoTronic Mid transmissions, which are specifically designed for trucks weighing over 25 tonne. These advanced systems aim to boost fuel efficiency, performance, and reliability in commercial vehicle applications. The transmissions are being produced at ZF’s manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune in Maharashtra, to meet the growing demand for higher engine torque capacities among truck manufacturers in India. “With over six decades of strong market presence in India, ZF has consistently provided advanced technology solutions that enhance operational efficiencies. This partnership underscores our role in delivering cutting-edge transmission solutions, strategically tailored to meet the evolving demands of our OEM partners,” President, ZF Group in India, Akash Passey said.
