| Project Detail : | Technopark has commissioned a new sewage treatment plant (STP) equipped with advanced automation technology in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices. The newly installed STP features membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems, which integrate conventional biological treatment with advanced membrane filtration, resulting in highly efficient wastewater treatment. The MBR technology enables the production of high-quality effluent suitable for reuse in non-potable applications such as landscape irrigation, and requires a significantly smaller physical footprint compared to conventional ones. With a daily treatment capacity of 7.50 lakh litres of sewage water, the plant meets stringent reuse standards. By adopting this advanced technology, Technopark is setting a benchmark in wastewater management for industrial campuses and tech parks across the country. |
