| Project Detail : | Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Panipat Green Hydrogen. The new entity has been established to develop green hydrogen projects and engage in associated business activities, L&T said in a stock exchange filing. The company had previously disclosed that it has secured land in Kandla, Gujarat, intended for the development of green hydrogen and green ammonia projects. These initiatives support India's growing push toward sustainable energy and align with the government’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, which promotes hydrogen as a clean fuel alternative, especially for transportation. The formation of Panipat Green Hydrogen underlines L&T’s commitment to investing in future-ready technologies and contributing to India’s clean energy transition, as the country accelerates its efforts to reduce carbon emissions. |
