| Project Detail : | Arkade Developers has acquired a 6.28-acre land parcel in Kasarvadavali, Thane West, near Ghodbunder Road, for Rs 172 crore. The site, which faces the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, is well-connected via Ghodbunder Road and the Eastern Express Highway. The company plans to develop a mixed-use project featuring two, three, and four-BHK residences along with retail and commercial spaces. The project’s RERA saleable area will be around 9.26 lakh sq ft, with an expected gross development value (GDV) of Rs 2,000 crore. This acquisition marks Arkade’s expansion into Thane, complementing its existing presence in central Mumbai locations such as Kanjurmarg, Mulund, and Bhandup. CMD Amit Jain noted that Thane’s growing infrastructure, including the upcoming Metro Line 4 and the Thane-Borivali twin tunnel, makes it a strategic growth hub. The company is also focused on luxury housing and recently acquired a four-acre Goregaon land parcel, previously leased to Filmistan, with an estimated GDV of Rs 3,000 crore, strengthening its development pipeline for FY25. |
