| Project Detail : | Volks Energie has secured a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) for commissioning solar PV and lithium-ion battery and charger systems for its Irugur-Devangonthi pipeline (IDPL) project. The IDPL project involves pipeline infrastructure across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, which will integrate solar energy systems with lithium-ion battery storage to provide off-grid backup for pipeline control stations and operational infrastructure. The integrated systems will supply power to critical equipment such as SCADA systems, cathodic protection, and other essential functions at remote locations across the pipeline. This is the second contract has given to Volks Energie by BPCL for its pipeline infrastructure, following an earlier project in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. |
