| Project Detail : | Prostarm Info Systems, a Navi Mumbai-based UPS & inverter manufacturer has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Bihar State Power Generation Company on 16 June, 2025 for setting up of 30 MW/120 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at different GSS location of BSPTCL in Bihar. The proposed BESS will be set at rental of Rs 4.44 lacs/MW/Month (i.e. yearly rental of Rs. 15.98 crore on 30MW/120 MWh) under tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) mode with viability gap funding (VGF) support under BOOT model for 12 years. The scheduled completion for commissioning of the full capacity of the project allocated will be the date as on 18 months from the effective date of battery energy storage purchase agreements (BESPA). |
