| Project Detail : | ACME Solar Holdings, rapidly advancing its first wind energy project in Shapar, Gujarat, post commissioning an initial 26.4 MW in May 2025, has now added 19.8 MW, bringing the total commissioned capacity to 46.2 MW of the planned 50 MW. Full commissioning is expected within the next few days. With this milestone, ACME Solar’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 2,826.2 MW. The project is located in one of India’s top wind resource zones and is developed under ACME Pokhran, a special purpose vehicle of the company. It is financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and operates under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL). Constructed using ACME’s in-house EPC expertise, the project benefits from enhanced margins and timely execution. Power generated is pooled at a 33/220 kV pooling station and evacuated through a dedicated single-circuit 220 kV line to the Shapar sub-station. This infrastructure will also be shared with ACME’s upcoming wind project in the same region, which is currently in the advanced stages of construction. |
