| Project Detail : | Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy power producer in India, has successfully commissioned its 145.99 MWp solar power project at Chapalgaon in Maharashtra. The plant will supply electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL). Commissioned on 22 May, 2025, the project was completed 19 months ahead of its scheduled commercial operation date and just 2.5 months after the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA) on 07 March, 2025. It is now fully operational at its designated capacity of 145.99 MWp. CEO of Juniper Green Energy, Ankush Malik, credited the early commissioning to meticulous planning and execution. “Early land acquisition and site development, comprehensive technical and environmental due diligence, grid connection permits, transmission line readiness, and transmission infrastructure ensure a seamless process and enable our success,” he stated. Juniper Green Energy focuses on the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects across India. The Chapalgaon project is a significant step in supporting India’s transition to clean energy and strengthening Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity. |
